Burleigh Falls is both a geological feature and a small community. The falls form the boundary between the municipality of Trent Lakes to the north and the municipality of Selwyn to the south. Lock 28 offers a great boat launch. Recreational boating and in particular canoeing have long been popular around Burleigh Falls, as well as swimming and picnicking. The entrance to Lock 28 is hidden when boating up Stony Lake from Youngs Point, A great spot for a photo shoot and a drone flight.
